Commercial Operating Agreement

Terms of Service & Platform Operating Rules

Last updated: September 2026 · Applicable to all UK Event Organizers, Corporate Planners, and Verified Trade Suppliers.

1. Nature of Service (Introductory Procurement Platform)

Eventri operates as an introductory event procurement and bid-reservation platform connecting event organizers (“Clients” or “Planners”) with verified independent event service providers (“Suppliers” or “Vendors”).

Eventri is not an event contractor, employment agency, caterer, or equipment rental provider. The formal contract for event services (including delivery, performance, dietary compliance, and service guarantees) is entered into directly and exclusively between the Client and the chosen Supplier.

2. The Pay-on-Selection Wallet Model

Submitting an Expression of Interest (“EOI”) and quote proposal on Eventri is free. To preserve marketplace integrity and discourage spam, a temporary fund reservation (“Hold”) matching the transparent category lead fee is held from the Supplier's wallet balance when submitting a quote.

Fund Reservation Guarantees:
  • If the Client selects your proposal: The hold is formally captured as the introductory fee, and full direct client contact details (telephone and direct email) are immediately unlocked.
  • If another supplier is chosen: 100% of your held funds are instantly and automatically released back to your available wallet balance at £0.00 cost.
  • Unused Personal Wallet Cash: Can be withdrawn back to your verified UK bank account via Faster Payments BACS at any time.

3. Anti-Evasion & Integrity Rules

Suppliers expressly agree not to post direct telephone numbers, disguised email addresses, external URLs, or direct solicitation within initial public pitch messages or quotes prior to formal Client selection.

Circumventing platform introductory fees by sharing off-platform contact details prior to selection results in immediate suspension of account privileges and forfeiture of accrued promotional credits.

4. UK Supplier Compliance & Warranties

All suppliers operating on Eventri warrant and represent that they hold valid UK Public Liability Insurance (PLI), relevant local authority food hygiene registrations (where offering catering or food preparation), annual PAT testing for electrical rigs, and SIA licenses for door supervision personnel.

Suppliers must promptly upload valid certificates upon request. Eventri reserves the right to suspend any supplier profile with lapsed or fraudulent insurance documentation.

5. 72-Hour Fair-Play Dispute Guarantee

If a selected supplier is completely unable to make contact with a client due to invalid phone numbers or documented non-responsiveness within 72 hours of selection, the supplier may lodge a Fair-Play Claim in their dashboard. Following admin verification, 100% of the introductory fee is credited back to the supplier's wallet.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Eventri shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from event cancellations, weather disruptions, supplier performance failures, or contractual disputes between Planners and Suppliers. Planners are strongly advised to secure independent UK Wedding or Event Insurance.
